June 2005 - August 2007: UNDP Deputy Resident Representative (Programme), Democratic Republic of Congo, RBA: Responsible for the programming and performance of the third largest UNDP worldwide operation. UNDP reconfigured itself over this period to better accompany the highly sensitive and complex peace and democratization processes through well targeted high impact Governance, Poverty Reduction and Human Security programmes.

December 2002 - June 2005: UNDP Deputy Resident Representative (Programme), Sudan, RBAS: Responsible for the programming and performance of the, at the time, third largest RBAS programme, characterized by its expansion in South Sudan, after many years of absence. UNDP ensured the implementation of innovative programs, which required the country office to adapt, innovate, and explore opportunities not readily apparent.

June 2001 - December 2002: UNDP Deputy Resident Representative (Programme; Operations), Comoros, RBA: Responsible for the oversight and guidance of the day-to-day operations of the UNDP office both in Programme and administration/Operations.

August 1999 - February 2001: Municipal Administrator - UNMIK, Suhareka, Kosovo, DPKO: Responsible for overall municipal management of a municipality of 87,000 inhabitants and 1,300 public administration staff. This involved the establishment of a Municipal Council and Administrative Board as well as the conduct of local elections.
