Support to Civil Society and other Parallel Projects

Other related projects have included the strengthening of strategic partnerships with the private sector and civil society. Examples include the provision of support to the Palestine Centre for Policy and Survey Research, where assistance was provided in its endeavors to estimate the size and nature of demand for absorption in the future Palestinian state. In addition, support was provided to the Palestinian Development Gateway in its mission to develop a high quality internet portal that will serve as an information and services cyber-centre. Efforts have also been undertaken to build capacity in the tourism sector and related projects such as the creation of the Traveler Guidebook to the Palestinian Lands, Holy Sites and Sanctuaries.
